RadioOlympics 2024

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place in France from July 26 to August 11. To mark the occasion, the ARV84 hamradio club is organizing the RadioOlympics 2024.

The awards of this RadioOlympics can be worked by all licensed hamradio amateurs and SWLs. Each QSO with one of the special event stations (SES) applicable to the RadioOlympics counts once per band and mode. Taking into account a respective minimum number of different SES, a certain number of QSO points must have been earned or corresponding listening reports must be provided for an award.

NOTE: For the RadioOlympics, only contacts from July 26 (00:00 UTC) to August 11 (23:59 UTC) 2024 will be counted!

Unfortunately, not all special stations are part of the RadioOlympicss project and they will not be uploading data to the website.

For French stations :

  • Bronze : 15 QSO with a minimum of 5 different special callsigns.
  • Silver : 30 QSO with a minimum of 10 different special callsigns.
  • Gold : 45 QSO with a minimum of 15 different special callsigns.

For European stations :

  • Bronze : 10 QSO with a minimum of 4 different special callsigns.
  • Silver : 20 QSO with a minimum of 8 different special callsigns.
  • Gold : 30 QSO with a minimum of 12 different special callsigns.

For non-European stations:

  • Bronze : 5 QSO with a minimum of 3 different special callsigns.
  • Silver : 10 QSO with a minimum of 6 different special callsigns.
  • Gold : 15 with a minimum of 9 different special callsigns.

The awards are issued separately for the modes CW, Phone, Digital and MIX.

All awards are free of charge and can only be requested and downloaded via the website https://oly24.fr until December 31, 2024.
